Biography

2012–2014: BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science, Edinburgh Napier University, UK

Gail is a PhD student in Dr. Colin Rickmans group. The research in this group, is focussed on the molecular study of eukaryotic membrane secretion, specifically looking at proteins which facilitate membrane fusion. Prior to this, Gail studied Biomedical Sciences at Edinburgh Napier University and has worked in Research and Development roles in Stem Cell Therapy, Paper-Making and PVC polymer industries. Whilst at Heriot Watt, Gail hopes to expand her skills in genetics and biochemistry. Outside university, Gail enjoys spending time with her family, reading, playing sports and enjoying life.
