Alfredo is a PhD student in Maiwenn Kersaudy-Kerhoas's group. The main goal of his research is the development of sustainable microfluidic device for clinical point-of-care application. Alfredo received his Master degree in Science and Material Engineering at the University of Palermo, with a dissertation in "Preparation and Characterization of Composite Scaffold, PLLA-Bioglass". During his Studies he has the honour to do an internship at the CNR of Palermo, doing a research on Material for solid-lipidic micro and nanoparticle for drug delivery applications. Alfredo was the first student to receive the Science and Material Engineering degree in Palermo University. Beyond university Alfredo spend his free time doing sport, painting, reading and going out and travelling.
