Matthew is an assistant professor and PhD student in The International Centre for Brewing and Distilling. The research in this group concentrates on applicable solutions and project support for Brewing, Distilling and allied industries.Matthew worked in association with Bacardi specialising in gin before returning to Heriot Watt to lecture and teach in distilling and start a PhD concerning gin flavour.
Beyond university Matthew enjoys exploring the countryside, cooking and mixing the occasional cocktail.
