Biography

2012-2016: PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK
2009-2011: MSc in Biomedical Engineering, University of Patras & National Technical University of Athens, Greece
2002-2009: Diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering , University of Patras, Greece

Konstantinos is a PhD student in Vassilis Sboros' Ultrasound group where the main area of research is the understanding of the behavior of microbubble contrast agents for improved micro-vascular imaging. He is also collaborating with the Center for Fast Ultrasound Imaging (CFU) of the Technical University of Denmark. He holds a diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering and a MSc in Biomedical Engineering, both from University of Patras, Greece. He is now working with advanced signal processing tools towards the development of adaptive imaging techniques for the exploitation of the scatter from single microbubbles. Apart from university his interests include sports, cinema and traveling.

Primary supervisor: Dr. Vassilis Sboros
Secondary supervisor: Prof. Alan Greenaway
