Vasiliki is a PhD student in Dr Vassilis Sboros’s group. The research in this group concentrates on developing algorithms for the tracking of micro-bubbles that are used as contrast agents in Ultrasound(US) imaging. Along with her secondary supervisor, Prof. Steven McDougal (Institute of Petroleum Engineering) she will create virtual vascular networks and investigate how different parameters of tumour induced angiogenesis can be imaged with US.
